Gary is the father of 3 sons and one of the original Vanguard pilots. As the
number one airplane in the Vanguard formation, Gary makes all the decisions in
the air. His job as flight lead is to choreograph, center and correct each
airshow maneuver to center stage. So, during the airshow sequence, Gary is
really flying for all 4 airplanes at once. Gary has over 2,000+ flight hours
and his favorite maneuver is the tail chase sequence because, as he says,
"That's when I get to dogfight the other guys."
